The pre-econ@Virginia.edu mailing list is used to distribute information about topics of interest to those considering a major in the Department of Economics at the University of Virginia.
Using pre-econ
To send an item of interest to pre-Economics majors at the University of Virginia, please address your email message to pre-econ@Virginia.edu. Your message will be received by the list administrator and, if it is in keeping with the purposes of the list, will be distributed to the members of the list. You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below.
Subscribing to pre-econ
Subscribe to pre-econ by completing the following form. This is a hidden list, which means that the list of members is available only to the list administrator. Your email address:   Your name (optional):   You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from changing your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as occasionally it will be emailed back to you in cleartext. If you choose not to enter a password, one will be generated automatically for you, and it will be sent to you after you have confirmed your subscription. You can request a mail-back of your password whenever you edit your personal options. Once a month, your password will be emailed to you as a reminder.
