SAVE THIS MESSAGE FOR FUTURE REFERENCE! Welcome to the UVa-Prehealth mailman list at the University of Virginia for students and alumni considering careers in health care. This list will be used by U.Va.'s Director of Preprofessional Advising to disseminate information to the prehealth (premed, pre-vet, pre-dental, etc.) student population regarding informational meetings, application deadlines, events at the UVa Medical Center, prehealth student groups, helpful resources, and other academic advising issues. During the school year you will receive an e-newsletter called "Prehealth Update" approximately every Friday(roughly once a month during the summer), and occasionally for special events. As the list is moderated, you will not receive email messages from everyone else on the list, only the prehealth advisor. Using UVa-Prehealth
You may submit a request to the listserve moderater to post an informational message to the listserve. The request will be considered based on timeliness and relevancy. Moderater. You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below.
Subscribing to UVa-Prehealth
Subscribe to UVa-Prehealth by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. This is a hidden list, which means that the list of members is available only to the list administrator. Your email address:   Your name (optional):   You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext. If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to you once you've confirmed your subscription.
