SAVE THIS MESSAGE FOR FUTURE REFERENCE! Welcome to the UVa-Prelaw listserv at the University of Virginia for students and alumni considering applying to law school. This list is an open, moderated mailing list used by UVa's Director of Preprofessional Advising to disseminate information to the "prelaw" population re: informational meetings, application deadlines, the prelaw student group, events at UVa of interest, helpful resources, and other academic advising issues. During the school year you will receive an e-newsletter called "Prelaw Update" every other week or so (and roughly once a month during the summer). You will not receive emails from everyone else on the list, only the prelaw advisor. If you'd like to unsubscribe from this list at any time, go to the web site at: http://list.mail.virginia.edu/mailman/listinfo/uva-prelaw and follow the instructions near the bottom of the screen for list members. Using UVa-Prelaw
To post a message to all the list members, send email to uva-prelaw@list.mail.virginia.edu. You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below.
Subscribing to UVa-Prelaw
Subscribe to UVa-Prelaw by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. This is a hidden list, which means that the list of members is available only to the list administrator. Your email address:   Your name (optional):   You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext. If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to you once you've confirmed your subscription.
