Hello all!

I am pleased to inform everyone that Steve Bokenkamp, Professor of 
Chinese Literature at Arizona State University, will be coming to UVA 
next Friday to talk about Daoism.

Quick vital statistics on the talk

What: "Doomed for a Certain Term: Medieval Daoism and the Ungrateful Dead."
When: Friday, April 4th, 2008, 3pm
Where: New Cabell Hall, room 311

I'll be going, if only to see what other tricks UVA catering can pull 
off.  Last time's small-sized water bottles were most impressive.  I 
know that miniaturization is a hallmark of post-industrial society, but 
those were just insane!
