August 27, 2006 ... sad news : experimantal composer James Tenney  
died on Aug. 25 | I always loved to listen to his very unique Postal  
Pieces (The Barton Workshop, New World Records, 2 CDs) and his  
wonderful Solo Works for Percussion (Hat[now]ART Records) played by  
Matthias Kaul. James Tenney's music continues to be a great  
inspiration ...
