I saw this too on the DVD,
but collage is pretty open for some.
I've seen collage used when what was
really meant was "medley."
Still would've been nice for them
to have acknowledged which works were collaged.
Anthony Braxton's Comp. No. 257 not only collages his own works (+
30, 31, 48, 69, 90 & 136)
but also includes Duke Ellington's Freedom No. 1, 4 & 6 from the
Sacred Concert No. 2 -
all of this info all shown on the back of the CD.
Anyway, we'll probably all find out sooner or later.
I'm sure André would like to add it to his listings.
