I was wondering if you would be willing to post a
message to the list announcing the publication of my book, titled NEW
MUSIC, NEW ALLIES: AMERICAN EXPERIMENTAL MUSIC IN WEST GERMANY FROM
THE ZERO HOUR TO REUNIFICATION (University of California Press,
2006). I'm certain that the book would be of great interest to many
Silencers, since Cage's activities in Europe and his reception there
(along with Tudor, and many others) is absolutely central to the
story.

messages from the list, but in the recent past when I've tried to 
post a message it occasionally didn't get posted because apparently I
