Dear All,

The Huddersfield Contemporary Music Festival HCMF begins today, this years theme is diversity, and the featured composer is  Feldman with a series called Missing Morty.  John Tilbury and the Smith String Quartet are performing all of Feldman's works for strings and piano.

Along with that there are performances of Cage's Electronic Music for Piano and Lucier’s Still Lives performed by Philip Thomas and James Saunders, Cage's Hymnkus and James Tenney's Having Never Written a Note for Percussion, played by Zetkratzer and Sonatas & Interludes performed by Steve Mackay, also there will be Cage's Five and christian Wolff's For Morty.
