Hi Patrick,
William Fetterman's 'John Cage's Theatre Pieces' gives quite a bit of info
on Musicircus. Chapter 6 gives floorplans and other details on works in this
genre (like some of the later Variations). There is some information on The
Musicircus performances of 1967 and 1970 (and 1987 and 1992).
