International Contemporary Ensemble - Spiegeltent - South Street
Seaport - New York Times

"The group [International Contemporary Ensemble] deserves the
attention: the freshness and electricity of its performances and
nondogmatic programming are persuasive more often than not. For the
Darmstadt series the group made John Cage the anchor of its program.
Its opener, Cage’s “Credo in US” (1942), began as a tightly focused
account but emphasized the gathering chaos within the work, as the
percussionists whacked their collections of tin cans and pots and the
increasingly assertive sounds of a randomly tuned radio gave the
score a cartoonish connection to the present."
