[silence] Japanese reaction to Cage

Peter Burt's book, The Music of Toru Takemitsu, has a chapter on  
Takemitsu's reaction to Cage.  I'm reading the book now and haven't  
gotten to that chapter yet, but the intro says that Cage's music had  
a profound effect on Takemitsu.  There may be other background and  
references to other materials.
