2009 READINGS WILL INCLUDE CHAMBER ENSEMBLE PIECES ONLY.
 
The S.E.M. Ensemble is calling for submissions to its annual
Workshop/Readings/Performance of New Works of Chamber Orchestra/Small
Ensembles. Selected scores will be rehearsed and critiqued during the period
of February 9-12, 2009. The composer will have the opportunity to work with
the musicians who will read each other¹s work. The workshop will culminate
in a performance, open to the public, on Thursday, February 12, 2009 at
Willow Place Auditorium in Brooklyn Heights. Scores should be for ensembles
no larger than 15 performers (for those interested in submitting scores for
full orchestra, please visit www.ocnmh.cz.)
 
 
 
SUBMISSION GUIDELINES:
 
 
Your Package should include:
 
1. 1 performance-ready copy of your score.
2. A short biography and CV (should include date, place of birth and contact
information)
3. A self-addressed, stamped envelope for return of materials.
4. Check for $25 processing fee made out to S.E.M. Ensemble.
