I understand much better now why Petr Kotik was so upset about a
discussed, coming performance of Atlas Eclipticalis with Winter Music
in Stockholm back in May. Had I read this text before that concert,
I'd never brought it up for discussion, and especially not with
Petr... Turned out the concert and the recording of it became
extremely fine, very beautiful. No doubt, Petr wouldn't have agreed.
It's about religion, about Jehovah's Witnesses and oppression. "...he
not busy being born is busy dying"

Inget är som det förefaller. Kroppen, t.ex., sedd som materia, är en
påse organ och några liter blod, i en ordning som gör 70 års "levande"
möjligt – men i en ständig, sekund för sekund, förändring.
Sedd på ett annat sätt är materien tomhet; tunna slingor
elementarpartiklar (som i sig själva kanske bara är en slags
vibrerande frekvenser) målade i rymden: ett sanslöst spelande för
gallerierna.
Jag gillar att se världen så; som en hägring, tom och lätt, målad i
rymden: tomhet i tomhet. Alltså är verkligheten andlig. Materien –
eller kanske idén om materien – ska bara ge spelrum.
