[silence] [Silence] Cage quote about Hovhaness

It is a wonderful quote, isn't it?

The quote in question may be found here, on the New York Times obituary for Hovhaness:

I don't know when or where Cage said this but had surmised it was during the time Cage, Hovhaness, and Lou Harrison were in residence together at the Cornish Institute, probably sometime in the 1980s.  I believe the percussionist Matthew Kocmieroski was with the three of them at this time and may have some tape recordings of their conversations, though I'm unsure whether they've been archived.  He may even be on this list (if you are, can you please tell us a story or two you remember from that residency?).

Is this printed somewhere? What were Cage's exact words?
