[silence] Bacchanale

Dear All,
 
I remember reading somewhere that Cage never wrote down the materials for preparations and measurements for Bacchanale, and it wasn't until somebody came to record it later (all I remember is that it was a female pianist-not her name), that they sat down and decided what would be best.
 
I can't find or remember where I read this.  Anyone with any clues?
