[silence] Scores in New Music

Hi Marcelo,

Here are two other possible books which deal with scores in New Music:

1. Karkoschka, Erhard. NOTATION IN NEW MUSIC: A CRITICAL GUIDE TO
INTERPRETATION AND REALIZATION. Trans. from the German by Ruth Koenig.
  London: Universal ed., 1972.

This book has examples from works by Berio, Brown, Cage, Stockhausen,
etc. Most of these scores use modified traditional notation or graphic
notations.

2. Johnson, Roger, ed. SCORES: AN ANTHOLOGY OF NEW MUSIC. New York:
  Schirmer Books, 1981.

This is an anthology of complete works by a several dozen composers.
Cage and Brown are certainly among those represented. However, these
scores are mostly text, not graphic or notated.

Good luck,

Katherine Setar
