maybe we can agree that sun ra was not one dimentional ...

in the mid 60s he was about as 'out' as he was going to be, and as
time went on, he integrated more of the 'in' with the 'out'. and
especially after his stroke, he played a lot of those swing charts.

but i don't think it's right to put these 'styles' in opposition. sun
ra was many things- all at the same time
