It might be too obvious a question for a Cage enthusiast, but bear in mind the the Diary is quite expansive. I remember reading the quote, but it would be tedious to retrace it. So I restate my question and please give me a helping hand here. The quote is about the "purpose of music" and the question that "supposing we have 100 composers, and one of them is doing the right thing. Are the rest 99 missing the point?" Or something like that. Could you please tell me where the quote can be found? I need it for an article I am writing. Thank you!
