[silence] Cage's Extramusical Pursuits; Request for Advice

Hello everyone,

My name is Sarah Stanton and I am an Honours musicology student at the
University of  Western Australia. I am currently investigating the
issue of Cage's extramusical interests and the manner in and extent to
which they influenced the formation of his musical ideas. I would
particularly like to focus on his other creative pursuits, although I
am still exploring the boundaries of the topic. My reading thus far
has not uncovered any in-depth research on this issue, one which I
believe is crucial to a fuller understanding of Cage, his mindset and
his working practices. I believe I have already contacted some of the
subscribers to this mailing list directly; however, any further advice
anyone can offer me regarding the undertaking of this research would
be greatly appreciated. I would also welcome any personal insights
regarding the topic which anyone may have.
