Dear Members of the Xenopus research community,
I am trying to find some inexpensive eukaryotic cDNA expression
libraries that could be used for functional complementation in E. coli.
One of the projects my genetics course is taking on this spring is to
look at the diversity of proteins that can perform certain reactions and
we want to find the corresponding genes by functional complementation.
Most of our screening will be through bacterial metagenomics libraries,
but I would like to have some eukaryotic libraries as well. If you have
a Xenopus cDNA library in a bacterial expression vector (e.g.,
LambdaZapII) and are willing to donate some of it for our course
research project, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you for your
time and attention.
